All training opportunities are grounded in adult learning theory and include opportunities for practicing skills, discussion, and interaction. The trainers utilize the expertise in your organization to create a personalized meaningful training experience.

United Way 211

In tough times, one phone call to United Way 211 can provide all the community resources needed; or if you have clothing or food to spare, one phone call can provide the nearest donation location. Simply dial 211 (651-291-0211 from a cell phone) or 800-543-7709.

United Way 211 uses over 40,000 community resources, and their trained information specialists quickly point you in the right direction to find childcare, counseling, food, housing, legal assistance, mental health support, help in times of crisis, transportation, youth and senior services, or how to volunteer or make donations.

The call is free, confidential, and supports multiple languages including Spanish, Hmong, Somali and Russian. Available 24 hours a day - 7 days a week - be assured that if you ever come up against tough times, United Way 211 will be there to help you get the assistance you need.
