All of the programs and services at MHR flow from our mission to foster hope and recovery for those affected by mental illness. Each client is at the center of what happens in his or her work with our staff. Our focus is on helping individuals realize their goals toward recovery, reintegration with others, and linkage to needed medical and other services. The majority of our services are delivered in the client's home or in the community.

Many of the MHR programs (ARMHS, ACT, TCM) are connected to initial referrals from Hennepin, Ramsey or Dakota County Human Services Departments. Housing Programs have specific intake criteria that are often related to homelessness along with mental illness and chemical dependency. The CSP drop-in center welcomes any Hennepin County client with a serious mental illness who wishes to be a part of that community. The Metro Team receives referrals from care managers with health plans.
