The CSP offers a variety of both individual and group activity options for members, from cooking and computer skills training, to art, poetry and social skills development.

Thanks to our staff and members, the spirit at the Minnehaha Center is welcoming and engaging. The community is safe, supportive and incredibly diverse in terms of its membership and activities. An overnight camping trip, a visit to the State Capitol, outings to community events and celebrations of holidays from many cultures were just some of the special events this year. Members credit the CSP with their improved mental health and ability to stay out of the hospital.

As part of the CSP, the Outreach and Housing team delivers comprehensive services to clients experiencing difficult housing problems such as homelessness, eviction notices, or the need for a permanent housing subsidy. Counselors provide rapid and transitional services as well as working with landlords, building rapport and encouraging them to rescind evictions whenever possible.
